Booking Procedure & Payment Method

Please enter your booking date and number of guests, and the system will list out all the available yachts.

A rocket logo will appear next to the price if yacht booking schedule is updated everyday.
Instant booking can be done to confirm the yacht.

The advanced search function can help you search for the yacht that fits your needs.

After choosing your desired add-on services, you can choose either bank transfer or credit card payment for payment method.

Yacht Holimood will confirm the availability of your booking with the boat owner when you request to reserve the boat. Then we will reply you through email.

If the time slot we provide cannot fit your need, Flexbook system can help you customise your vacation on the sea. It only takes 3 minutes for the process.

An email for confirmation and payment method will be sent to you after your request is confirm. Please follow the instructions in the email. Deposit should be paid within 24 hours, otherwise your booking will be cancelled by the system automatically.

Please follow the instruction in the email to settle the remaining payment. Boat owners only accept cash payment during the departure day.

Can I adjust the number of guests after the booking ?

Clients need to contact Yacht Holimood at least 5 days prior to their trip if they want to change the number of guests, catering service or other add-on services. Payment needed to be settled before the due day. Boat owner may not be able to provide sufficient food or catering service if the actual guests outnumber the booked number of guest. Furthermore, guests number cannot be reduced once confirmed.

Can I adjust the booking date or canel the booking after I pay the deposit ?

LEVEL 1

  • Rescheduling is not allowed if the departure date is less than 2 weeks (except rearrangement due to bad weather). No cancellation & refund is allowed for confirmed booking.
  • Customer can only reschedule the trip to a date in or after October in the same year for free. Extra 20% of the rental price will be collected as service charge for rescheduling before October. All rescheduling is subjected to availability of the boat.
  • If the original departure date is on weekday, the rescheduled day must be on weekday. If it is on weekend, the rescheduled day must be on weekend. Charge may be applied for rescheduling.
  • Customer can only reschedule the date for once.
  • We do not accept any changes of vessel.
  • Guests cannot select other vessels when they change their booking.
  • No cancellation or rescheduling is allowed for the ordered food & beverages.
  • If the vessel fails to operate, the owner will notify the customers  for rescheduling or replace with a vessel in similar standard. Customers can choose to refund.

  • If the original departure date is on weekday, the rescheduled day must be on weekday. If it is on weekend, the rescheduled day must be on weekend. Charge may be applied for rescheduling.
  • Customer can only reschedule the date for once.
  • We do not accept any changes of vessel.
  • Guests cannot select other vessels when they change their booking.
  • No cancellation or rescheduling is allowed for the ordered food & beverages.
  • If the vessel fails to operate, the owner will notify the customers  for rescheduling or replace with a vessel in similar standard. Customers can choose to refund.

How can I contact the boat owner ?

After paying the deposit, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address with contact information of the boat owner. Please contact the boat owner 3 days before your trip to confirm the pier and time.

Are there any bad weather policies ?

1. For safety reason, vessel owners reserve all rights to cancel or reroute the boat trip in terms of the adverse weather condition. 

2. Boat trip remains scheduled when:
i) Typhoon signal 1 or Red rainstorm signal are hoisted
ii) 2 hours before departure, higher number of Typhoon signal changes to Typhoon signal 1 or Black rainstorm signal changes to Red rainstorm signal
Customers should stay contact with vessel owners to confirm all arrangements when adverse weather occurs. 

3. If the Black rainstorm signal or Typhoon signal 3 or above is still hoisted 2 hours before departure on the scheduled date, the trip is allowed to reschedule. The rescheduling date should be on or after October in the same year, for the same weekdays or weekends as the original (depends on availability). If the rescheduling date is before October in the same year, fees may applied (please contact vessel owners for details).

4. Followed by the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinances and for safety reason, when the Black rainstorm signal or Typhoon signal 3 or above is hoisted during the rental hours, vessel owners reserve the right to return at an earlier time than scheduled. No compensation will be provided.

5. Customers have to pay extra cost for the ordered beverages and extra items charged due to the cancellation and rescheduling.

6. Refund is not allowed under any circumstance. All rearrangement should be settled within 7 days (starting from the scheduled date for boat trip), otherwise considered as demission.

7. The pick-up point may change due to the weather condition, it is required to follow vessel owners』 advises.

8. Customers can only reschedule date once.

Can we bring our own food and beverage on board?

There will not be additional charge for most of the yachts if you wish to do so. For some yachts, cleaning fee will be stated in the yacht details.

Child charges

Child charges will be stated under the price description section if there is any. Unless specified, each guest will be counted as 1 pax regardless guest’s age.

Insurance

All yachts follow the law and have purchased 3rd party insurance. Guests can purchase additional insurance on their own.

Maximum Capacity

Please note that the maximum capacity for each yacht is different. The captain will not start the boat if the number of guests on board exceed the legal maximum capacity, which each guest will be treated as 1 pax regardless age.

Are pets welcome?

Many of our yachts welcome dogs, however cleaning fee might be charged. Please refer to our website for more details.

Can we hop on board at two different piers?

Yes you can, however the pickup time needed will also be counted into the rental hours. Furthermore, additional fee might be charged if the two piers are too distant from each other. (Except for special dates, such as new year countdown. )

Are there life jackets on board?

For Emergency Only

Each boat has sufficient number of life jackets on board according to the requirement of the Marine Department. However these life jackets are for life-saving purposes only and not for entertainment use.

For Entertainment Use

Each yacht has different number of life jackets for entertainment use. Please contact us for more details. 

Speedboat included in daytime cruiser package

Normally 4 hours of speedboat usage is included. Actual time usage may vary depending on factors like the distance of the destination or the weather.

If I ordered F&B through Holimood, will my order be delivered on board directly?

Your order will be delivered to your chose pier. Your order might be 5 to 10 minutes early or late depending on the traffic. Please reserve time for picking up your order, and please make sure your phone is on as the driver who delivers your order would contact you.
